I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at Université Laval located in Quebec City, Canada. My primary field of study is international relations and my research is focused largely on international security issues. Some of my specific research interests include international relations theory/security theory, asymmetric conflicts, counterinsurgency wars, peace operations, nuclear (non) proliferation, ballistic proliferation, social network analysis and qualitative comparative analysis. My expected dissertation completion is December 2012.
I am a die-hard tennis fan. It is my favorite sport and I practise it very often. My favorite player is Rafael Nadal. This year, he has equalled Bjorn Borg's record of six French Open titles. How happy could a fan be? Vamos Rafa ! On the ladies' side I am a huge fan of Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
